I made it to 31… after a very long journey to get here… I am here. At thirty everything lined up… I thought my life was going to be close to perfect… the job, the man, the friends, the family… but thirty turned out to be a year of learning life lessons… so what did I learn at 30? I learned to trust no one but yourself… That you only get one life, so be happy…. Don’t let people bully you, belittle your ideas, or tell you that you don’t deserve everything. You only get one chance at life, and you are bound to screw it up… Thirty was full of disappointments, failures, letdowns and letting others use my talents… but those negativities don’t compare to the great things that came at thirty. Thirty gave me happiness in myself, gave me new friendships, gave me hope in a generation that is coming up, and most of all… it gave me myself and the ability to stand up for myself. I found out who I really am, what I stand for, and what I want out of my life. So, cheers to 31.
