Dior. do me good. do me dirty.

Oh John Galliano…. why are you such a hateful person?
2008-2009 Fall Couture…
Kind of perfect isn’t it?
Dior you do me good and dirty…
Will Dior ever be the same? For years, well all my fashion life I have idolized John Galliano for his talents and his direction with Dior. But now I am still conflicted… Where are all my designers going? John Galliano and McQueen- within a one year span you both have left me. For very different reasons of course… I just miss your amazing-ness. I miss Dior’s classic couture and McQuees cutting edge couture…
People can’t fill your shoes, but Sarah Burton is doing a good job I guess.
So conflicted… too much change…

Creating an Empire…

Creating an empire is really hard. I look at Dior, and Chanel and look how their empires have grown and fallen…
With the recent Dior/ John Galliano Scandal, I can’t help to think what it would take for me to get back in the fashion world. I mean it isn’t like I have left all together, but regardless- maybe it is time for me to make a bigger splash…

So, what would it take? 10,000 dollars to fall out of the sky-
a great team to work with= and more importantly: INSPIRATION…

Needless to say, I have been having an itch to take over the Inland Empire…

dior.

John Galliano is the reason why I wanted to become a fashion designer. I saw his fall 1997 couture show celebrating the timeline of dior in which he used pointe shoes and made the girls chaine turn down the runway. Still to this day I think Galliano is the most talented designer. I think that Christian Siriano should be the next man behind Dior, I honestly think he has the potential to be amazing. Then me. hahaha kidding on that part. Everything about Dior Couture is fantastic, and John Galliano is doing a great job. Even this year’s ready to wear fall was great and so beautiful. The picture above is from my favorite fashion show ever. It was flawless.
