Lovely.

I loved Alexander McQueen…
From the colors to the cuts, I thought it was very hip, very cool, and very current.

Etro.. That was a show.
I loved the Asian inspired looks and silhouettes… Everything about this I thought was very modern, very sophisticated and extremely colorful.

Dior. do me good. do me dirty.

Oh John Galliano…. why are you such a hateful person?
2008-2009 Fall Couture…
Kind of perfect isn’t it?
Dior you do me good and dirty…
Will Dior ever be the same? For years, well all my fashion life I have idolized John Galliano for his talents and his direction with Dior. But now I am still conflicted… Where are all my designers going? John Galliano and McQueen- within a one year span you both have left me. For very different reasons of course… I just miss your amazing-ness. I miss Dior’s classic couture and McQuees cutting edge couture…
People can’t fill your shoes, but Sarah Burton is doing a good job I guess.
So conflicted… too much change…

ANGRY BITCH.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN… hell has no fury like a woman scorn and Sarah Burton is coming back full fury.(I would too if I was in his shadow for 16 years) After McQueen passed I really didn’t think highly of the idea of continuing on. And I still don’t. Out of the entire collection that premiered I only liked two looks. Don’t get me wrong, there was texture galore… but I honestly thought she was trying too hard to live up to the reputation that mcqueen had become known as.
On a positive note i LOVED these two looks. Everything else was too much. I thought we were editing down collections… urghz.
